Where we work

Four parts of one valley, and they do not build the same

We work across the Las Vegas valley. The ground, the approvals and the lots change enough between these areas that pretending otherwise would cost you money.

Las Vegas is where most of our work is

Our base is Las Vegas and the majority of what we build is inside the city. That is why the service pages on this site are written for Las Vegas rather than split into a page per suburb: the pool, landscape and maintenance work we do here is the same work, described once, properly.

What genuinely changes outside the city is the ground, the permitting authority and the approval process, and those are worth their own pages. The three below cover what is actually different, not the same paragraph with a place name swapped into it.

Henderson

Henderson climbs. That single fact changes the cost, the sequence and the approval path of almost every backyard we build here.

Permitting: City of Henderson

North Las Vegas

Most of the backyards we are called to in North Las Vegas are the same on day one: a graded pad, a block wall and a hose bib. What happens in the first ninety days decides what the yard costs for the next ten years.

Permitting: City of North Las Vegas

Summerlin

Summerlin yards are governed twice: once by the city and once by the community. Every job we run here is designed so both say yes the first time.

What we do, everywhere

The same five services, wherever the lot is

Area does not change what we build, only how. Every service below runs across all four areas, and each page explains the work rather than the postcode.

  • Landscaping: Most Las Vegas yards fail in their second summer, not their first. We plan for the second summer.
  • Artificial Turf: Turf does not fail because of the turf. It fails because of what somebody did or did not do underneath it.
  • Outdoor Living: In this climate the backyard is a room. Shade, surface and seating are what decide whether anyone uses it.
  • Pool Service: Desert pools are harder to keep than they look. Evaporation, dust and heat work against the water every single day.
  • Pools: A pool is the most expensive thing most people will ever put in a backyard. It should be designed with the backyard, not before it.

Not sure whether you are in our area?

Boundaries in this valley do not follow the postcode, and a street that reads as Las Vegas on a delivery label can permit through a different city. Tell us the cross streets and we will tell you which authority your job goes through and whether it is one we take. If it is outside our area we will say so on the phone rather than send somebody out.
