Irrigation and sprinkler repair in Las Vegas

A broken irrigation line in this climate is not an inconvenience. It is a plant death clock.

An irrigation repair in progress: a shallow open trench cut through decomposed granite with a black drip mainline and a new compression coupling in it, and an open valve box beside it showing the manifold and its wiring.Irrigation Repair in the Las Vegas valley

Most irrigation calls here are one of four things: a valve that will not close, a line broken by a root or a shovel, emitters clogged by the mineral content of Las Vegas water, or a controller programmed for a season that ended two months ago.

The expensive version is the one nobody notices. A drip line cracked underground waters one plant and starves six, and you find out when the six die, which is usually about six weeks later and well after the warranty conversation would have been easy.

Why systems here fail faster

The water is hard, so emitters clog. The ground moves, so fittings pull. The temperature swing splits poly line that was laid too tight. And the sun destroys anything above grade that is not UV rated, which is most of what gets installed by somebody in a hurry.

We fix what is broken and tell you which part of the system is going to break next, because on a system more than about eight years old the answer is usually that the repair you called about is the third symptom of something upstream.

What this covers

Signs Your Irrigation Is Failing

Five minutes in the yard can tell you a lot. Look for wet spots that do not match a zone, dry patches in a regular pattern, sprinkler heads that mist instead of spray, a zone that will not shut off, and a water bill that has jumped without a change in habits. Brown patches in a pattern usually point to one specific zone rather than the whole system.

What We Repair

Drip lines and emitters, spray heads and rotors, valves, controllers and timers, and the wiring behind them all fail in different ways. Each repair starts with finding the cause zone by zone, so the fix addresses what is actually broken.

Response Time

Call or send a request during business days and we respond within 24 hours.

Repair, or Upgrade

Patching an older spray system can be the right answer when only a few zones have failed. Converting to drip or adding a smart controller is worth it when repairs keep returning to the same zones. We will tell you when repair is the right answer, even when an upgrade would be more profitable for us.

Every part of the job, under one team

Leak detection and line repair

Finding the break rather than guessing at it, and repairing with fittings that will survive the next temperature swing.

Valve and manifold work

Valves that will not close, will not open, or weep constantly, plus the manifold rebuilds that usually come with them.

Drip and emitter service

Clogged emitters, crushed tubing and the coverage problems that come from a system that grew by addition rather than design.

Controller programming

Run times and seasonal adjustment set for what your plants actually need, not left on the default from installation.

System audits

Zone by zone check of pressure, coverage and run time, with the failures you have not noticed yet written down.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us first

My plants are dying but the system runs. Why?

Running is not the same as delivering. The most common cause we find is emitters clogged by mineral build-up, so the zone turns on, the controller reports success, and the plant gets nothing.

Should I repair or replace?

If we are fixing the same zone twice in a season, replacement is cheaper. We will tell you which one you are looking at rather than selling you the bigger job by default.
