Landscape maintenance in Las Vegas, by the crew that built it

If the design got something wrong, the maintenance crew is who finds out. Ours reports back to the people who drew it.

Maintenance in this valley is not mowing. It is pruning that respects the form of desert species, irrigation that gets adjusted four times a year instead of once, granite that gets raked and topped up, and catching the plant that is declining while it is still a plant and not a hole.

The part that matters most is continuity. A crew that sees the same yard every month for three years knows that the shrub in the north bed has been slow since the wall went up, and that the emitter on the third palo verde has clogged twice. A crew that rotates knows none of that and treats every visit as the first one.

What ongoing service actually includes

A visit is pruning where pruning is due, irrigation checked zone by zone rather than assumed, beds and hardscape cleared, and a note of anything that changed since last time. Seasonal adjustment happens on the calendar the plants keep, not the one the invoice keeps.

When we built the yard, maintenance closes the loop: if a species is failing in the spot we put it, that is our information to act on and our cost to fix.

What this covers

Every part of the job, under one team

Scheduled visits

Regular service on a cadence that matches the property, with the same crew wherever possible.

Pruning and plant health

Cutting for the form of the species, watching for decline, and treating problems while they are small.

Seasonal color

Annual beds at the entry and around the patio, changed at the turn of the season so the yard has a moment of color where people actually stand. We keep the planted area deliberately small. Color that has to be replanted four times a year is a running cost dressed up as a design feature, and a yard that depends on it looks tired the week before each changeover.

Irrigation checks and seasonal adjustment

Zones tested on the visit and run times changed with the season rather than once a year.

Granite, beds and cleanup

Beds, hardscape and the pool surround cleared every visit, and granite topped up where it has thinned.

Debris removal

Every visit ends with the yard clean, not just cut. Clippings bagged and taken away, granite beds raked back, the pool surround and the hardscape blown down, and the drains checked rather than glanced at. A yard that has been maintained but not cleaned still reads as neglected from the kitchen window, which is the only place most people ever judge it from.

Reporting

A note of what changed, what we did and what is going to need attention, so nothing is a surprise.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us first

Do you maintain yards you did not build?

Yes. Most of the route is work somebody else built, and that is fine. We will tell you honestly what we inherit.

How often should a desert yard be serviced?

Most properties here sit between fortnightly and monthly. Denser planting and more hardscape push it up, pure granite and a few specimens pull it down.
