Pool Service

Pool service in Las Vegas, by the people who build them

Desert pools are harder to keep than they look. Evaporation, dust and heat work against the water every single day.

A pool in Southern Nevada is not the same appliance it is anywhere else in the country. Water leaves it constantly. Dust arrives constantly. The sun burns through sanitiser faster than most homeowners expect, and the equipment runs harder and longer than the manufacturer’s average customer ever asks of it.

That combination means the gap between a pool that is maintained and one that is merely visited shows up quickly.

What a real service visit includes

Chemistry tested and corrected. Surfaces brushed, not just skimmed. Baskets and skimmers cleared. And an actual look at the equipment pad, because most of the expensive failures announce themselves weeks in advance to anyone who is checking.

You get told what we found. If something is starting to go, you hear about it while it is still a repair.

The advantage of servicing pools we also build

We know what is behind the wall, because building pools is the other half of this business. When a circulation problem turns out to be a design problem, or a heater is struggling because of how it was plumbed years ago, we can say so and show you why.

It also means we have no incentive to sell you a rebuild you do not need. The service side of this company is the part that keeps customers for a decade, and that only works if the advice is straight.

When we tell you to stop spending

A twenty year old pump being nursed through another summer is not thrift. Neither is chasing a stain with chemicals when the surface is at the end of its life. Part of the job is telling you which of your options is actually the cheap one over three years, even when that is the bigger invoice today.

What this covers

What a Weekly Service Visit Covers

A weekly visit covers water testing and balancing, brushing, skimming, vacuuming, emptying baskets, backwashing, filter checks and a look at the equipment. Each item is there because it prevents a specific problem, and the visit is only as good as the checks behind it.

Keeping a Pool Clean in the Las Vegas Climate

Pools here run close to year-round, which changes the service rhythm compared with most of the country. Sun burns off free chlorine quickly, hard water leaves scale on tile and surfaces, and fine desert dust loads filters differently from leaves. Summer evaporation is normal and is not a leak. The difference is covered on the pool repair page.

Green Pool Recovery

A green pool has a cause, and the recovery depends on it. Some pools recover with service and chemistry. Others need the surface drained and acid washed before the water can be cleared. We tell you which situation you are in after looking at the pool, rather than promising a quick fix. For the surface side, see acid wash and green pool recovery.

Every part of the job, under one team

Weekly pool service

Water chemistry, skimming, brushing, baskets and a real equipment check on every visit, with a note of what we found rather than a card left in the door.

Water chemistry and balancing

Evaporation in a Mojave summer concentrates everything left behind, so a pool here drifts out of balance faster than the same pool anywhere else. We test and correct on every visit rather than dosing on a schedule, because the schedule does not know what the weather did last week.

Pool repair

Pumps, filters, heaters, valves, automation and plumbing. We diagnose before we quote, and we tell you when a repair is throwing money at something that needs replacing.

Leak detection

Locating where water is actually going before anyone breaks concrete. In this climate a pool that looks like it has a leak is often losing it to evaporation, and knowing which is which saves a lot of money.

Equipment and filtration

Filter cleans, pump replacement, automation setup and the circulation work that determines whether the water stays clear without constant chemical correction.

System checks and inspections

Every visit includes a look at the things that fail quietly: pressure across the filter, the sound of the pump, the seal on the lid, the state of the bonding. Most equipment does not break suddenly, it tells you for weeks first. Catching it there is the difference between a part and a pad.

Seasonal and monsoon service

Two weeks of monsoon dust and runoff will do more to a pool than the three quiet months either side of it. Service here is not the same job in July as in January: the run times, the dosing and the cleaning frequency change with the season, and so does what we are looking for.

Acid wash and green pool recovery

Bringing back a pool that has been neglected, stained or left to go green, and then telling you honestly what caused it so it does not happen again.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us first

How often does a Las Vegas pool need service?

Weekly through the warm months is standard here, and the reason is specific to this valley: evaporation concentrates everything left in the water, and the dust load is constant. Pools on a two week cycle in summer tend to spend the season being corrected rather than maintained.

Why does my pool lose so much water?

Most of the time it is evaporation, not a leak. Summer loss of a noticeable amount per week is normal here. That is exactly why guessing is expensive: the test is straightforward and it tells you whether you have a plumbing problem or a climate problem before anybody starts cutting.

Do you service pools you did not build?

No. Our pool service is for the pools we build, which is what lets us tell you exactly what is going on behind the wall.

What is the most common expensive mistake?

Deferring equipment work. A failing pump or a neglected filter puts load on everything downstream, and the repair that was affordable in April becomes a replacement in August, which is the worst month to be without a working pool.
